About Naturally Yours
Naturally Yours is a small family run organisation. The
business was started over 12 years ago and has grown over
the years. The lines we stock especially organic groceries
have come about through customer demand and our willingness
to source products that our customers ask for.
At one time we used to rear our own animals but however
as demand grew we found it increasingly difficult to maintain
a working stock level. So 5 years ago we decided to release
the farming side of the business to local organic farmers/growers.
However we still maintain 100% organic traceability of all
our organic meats as we only use one registered farm for
all our pork, beef & lamb and another single supplier
for all our organic poultry needs.
All of our organic meats are treated with the traditional
touch as our beef is hung 21 days before cutting and our
butcher prefers to hang pork and lamb for one week before
cutting. We feel this adds a little extra something to the
texture and flavour of our meats.
All of our organic sausages are prepared on site using
natural skins with no additives or preservatives only a
little seasoning!
Our organic bacon is home cured using traditional methods
which takes 2 – 3 weeks depending if a visit to our
own smokehouse is required. No artificial curing or smoking
aids are used in this process.
Our organic poultry supplier is a local based farm called
Traditional Norfolk Poultry who raise their own chickens
to the highest standards set down by the Organic Farmers
& Growers. We feel that this is some of the best tasting
poultry around.
We have three main aims for our organic fruit & vegetables.
Firstly we try and source quality local produce from several
local growers sometimes however we have to go to nationally
sourced and thirdly for more exotic items we have to source
from outside the UK. However we always maintain a strict
code of checking the validity and status of a products organic
status and the countries organic reputation.
